It also provides them with estimated drive and waiting times when they plan to visit an emergency department. Additionally, the system sends their estimated arrival time to the emergency department, optimising their resource allocation. This system efficiently redirects low-emergency and mental health patients to the appropriate departments, effectively reducing pressure in the ED.
